The MCAAP MWR Recycling program has grown into a very busy operation! In 2008 the recycling program diverted over 3 million pounds of recyclable materials from the landfill. In 2009 recycling moved to a new location to accommodate the increased demand of our services. This allows us to store more products at a central location and process the products more efficiently to maximize profits.
